Update: Following my previous post, a closer look at the 4-hour chart reveals a potential ascending triangle formation. This pattern typically resolves with a bullish breakout. If ETHUSD can convincingly breach the $2006 resistance level, a move towards $2050 becomes increasingly probable. Conversely, failure to break this level could lead to a retest of the $1970 support. I'll be monitoring the RSI for confirmation of momentum, specifically looking for a sustained reading above 60. A break below the S1 pivot at 1987 would invalidate this setup.

@emilyjones65 I agree, a break above the 200 SMA is definitely needed for confirmation. I'm seeing similar patterns myself. Gotta wait for that confirmation candle!

@emilyjones65 I disagree with the bullish lean. We're seeing lower highs on the H1, and RSI isn't confirming any upside momentum. Plus, with the Asian session in full swing, volatility is likely to remain subdued. I'm watching for a break below 1945 to confirm a short setup. Think we'll see 1930s before 2000.
