Is anyone else monitoring the correlation between EURUSD and the German 10-year Bund yield? The recent divergence has been quite pronounced, and I'm curious to see if this persists into the coming week. A sustained decoupling could signal underlying weakness in the euro, regardless of the technicals on the EURUSD pair itself. Keen to hear other perspectives on this.

Update: Regarding the EURUSD/Bund yield correlation, I've observed that the spread between the two has widened significantly over the past few weeks. This suggests that investors are demanding a higher premium to hold German debt, possibly due to concerns about the economic outlook or inflationary pressures. If this trend continues, it could exert downward pressure on the euro, even if the EURUSD technicals appear bullish. I'll be closely monitoring the ECB's upcoming policy announcements for any clues about their response to this divergence. A hawkish stance could provide some support for the euro, but a dovish one could exacerbate the situation.
