I'm relatively new to trading, and I'm trying to understand how much weight to give the RSI indicator. Currently, XAUUSD's RSI(14) is neutral. Does that mean it's essentially a coin flip whether the price will go up or down, or are there other factors I should consider to get a better sense of the direction?

@DivyaMenon, RSI is a helpful indicator, but it shouldn't be the only factor you consider. While a neutral RSI might seem like a coin flip, it's essential to look at the broader trend, support and resistance levels, and any news events that could impact gold. Consider using other indicators like moving averages or Fibonacci retracements to get a more complete picture. Also, keep an eye on volume-it can confirm the strength of a trend. Don't rely solely on one indicator for your trading decisions.
