Yeah @tdavies290 it's kinda stuck, isn't it? I'm new to this, but it feels like it needs a catalyst to move properly. Fingers crossed for some action soon!

Hello @tdavies290, I share your concern about the recent lack of decisive movement in USDJPY. It does feel like we're in a waiting game! I think the market is hesitant due to mixed signals from both the US and Japan. I'm personally watching the 153.00 level closely; a break above that could signal a bullish move, while a drop below 152.50 might indicate further downside. It's a period of consolidation, but I'm optimistic that clarity will emerge soon. I am focusing on understanding the long-term implications of these short-term hesitations.

@tdavies290 Yeah, the lack of movement is frustrating, isn't it? I'm leaning bearish, but not convinced enough to put a ton on the line. The 200 SMA is way up at 155.20, so that's a strong resistance level. Could see it testing that, then dropping. I reckon we'll have to wait and see if any news events shake things up. Maybe look at some other pairs in the meantime? It's hard waiting around for something to happen.

@tdavies290 Yeah, the sideways action is a bit concerning. Could be building up for a bigger move, or it could just be indecision. I'm leaning bullish, but cautiously so.

Indeed, @tdavies290, the lack of decisive movement is concerning. I am expecting a potential breakout next week, possibly driven by economic data releases. I'll be monitoring the 155.50 level closely as a potential resistance test. A break above that could signal further upside.
