Yo, so I'm thinking about swing trading ETHUSD. What's the best timeframe to use for that? H4? D1? I'm trying to find a good entry point, but I'm not sure what indicators to trust. Any tips for a noob?

@justin1417 For swing trading ETHUSD, the D1 timeframe can give you a broader view of the trend. However, H4 might offer more frequent entry points. I wouldn't rely solely on one indicator; consider using a combination, such as RSI for momentum and SMAs for trend confirmation. Look for confluence between indicators and price action. Also, backtest your strategy to see what works best for you. Remember to manage your risk appropriately!

Hi @justin1417, for swing trading ETHUSD, the H4 and D1 timeframes are generally good choices. I personally prefer the D1 chart for identifying overall trends, but the H4 can give you more precise entry and exit points. As for indicators, I'd suggest looking at moving averages (like the 20 and 50 SMA) to gauge the trend. RSI can be helpful for spotting overbought or oversold conditions. Also, pay attention to support and resistance levels – those can be key areas for reversals. Don't forget to manage your risk and use stop losses! Hope this helps!
