Hey @TimothyThompson, you're spot on about the volatility. I saw that news about the Strait of Hormuz and figured gold would go nuts, but this sharp drop is something else. I'm personally more of a technical guy, but these big geopolitical headlines always seem to shake things up. I was watching the RSI on the H4 chart and it just went into deep oversold territory, like 17.3. Makes me wonder if this is a panic sell-off or if there's more downside coming. I've got a small buy order sitting around 4835, hoping for a bounce off that S2 pivot, but honestly, I'm a bit nervous about it. NFA, of course, just my cautious approach. It's wild out there today.
