I've been watching a few YouTube channels this morning, and they're all talking about how the Middle East tensions easing is actually good for gold long-term. Apparently, when there's less fear, money flows out of safe havens like gold and into riskier assets. It's hard to believe after seeing that big drop yesterday though.

Hey @swhite961, that's an interesting take on the Middle East tensions and gold. I usually think of gold as a safe haven when things get crazy, but you're right, sometimes when tensions ease, money does move back to riskier assets. Friday was a bit confusing though, saw a big drop then a quick recovery. Still trying to figure out if that was a liquidity grab or something more.
