EURUSD Mar 9
Anyone here use Ichimoku Cloud for EURUSD? I've been trying to incorporate it into my algo, but getting mixed signals. Specifically, how do you guys handle the cloud thickness and future cloud displacement? Been backtesting like crazy but struggling to dial in the parameters. Any tips or resources would be appreciated. Maybe I'm missing something obvious.

Thinking about it more... maybe it's the lagging span that's throwing me off. The default 26 periods seems a bit laggy for EURUSD on H4. Has anyone experimented with shorter periods? I'm also wondering if combining it with something like fibonacci retracements would help filter out some of the noise. Or maybe I should just stick to price action and forget about indicators lol. This consolidation is killing me. Going to bed now, hope the smart money doesn't make too many moves overnight.
