Seriously, the DXY dipping this much after some Trump comments? Feels like a joke. If the dollar is losing ground, GBPUSD should be flying higher. I'm seeing that 1.34 mark as a definite possibility if this trend holds. Let's see if this weakness in the dollar is real or just noise before Sydney closes.

Actually, I rechecked the news. It's not just Trump, there's talk about the jobs data too. If that comes in weak, it could really hammer the dollar. So yeah, my 1.34 target is looking more solid. This is the kind of volatility I live for, even if the session is quiet now.

Yeah @dalMatthew, I saw that news about the jobs report too. It definitely makes the dollar look much stronger than just some comments from Trump would suggest. So my initial thought that GBPUSD might hit 1.34 if the dollar weakened seems unlikely now, especially with the RSI sitting so low on Friday. Given that strong NFP print, I'm actually leaning towards the downside for GBPUSD next week. We might see that 1.30 level being tested if the trend continues. It's a big shift from just a few days ago. I'll be watching the open closely for any gap.
