Market sentiment on XAUUSD feels indecisive this morning. The overnight session is typically quieter, but I'm sensing a lack of clear direction. The price action around 5165 suggests neither bulls nor bears are fully committed. I'll be watching for a breakout above 5170 or a breakdown below 5160 to confirm a directional bias.

Güncelleme: Regarding my earlier sentiment, I'm leaning slightly bearish on XAUUSD in the short term. The failure to break above 5170 during the overnight session suggests limited upside momentum. I've initiated a small short position at 5168 with a tight stop loss at 5173. My initial target is 5160, targeting the S2 pivot level. A break below that could open the door for a test of the Bollinger Band lower boundary around 5124. This is a scalp trade, so I'll be managing it closely.

@DavidPainter I agree about the indecisiveness. I'm seeing the same thing around that 5160-5170 area. But with the US session opening, things could get volatile fast. I'm leaning bearish, tbh. The 200 SMA is still way up there and acting like a magnet. Might try a small short position if we get a decent bounce.
