Honestly, the spreads on ETHUSD during this London/NY overlap are absolutely brutal. I entered a long position near 2270 and by the time the order filled, I was already down a few ticks due to slippage. It's like the market makers are feasting on retail traders right now. I've tried different brokers, but it's always the same story when volatility spikes like this. You aim for a specific entry, and the actual execution price is significantly worse, eating into your potential profit before the trade even gets going. It’s incredibly frustrating when you’ve done your analysis and then the infrastructure itself works against you. Makes you question the whole game sometimes.
