The current XAUUSD bearish trend is quite strong, with price falling below both the 20 and 50 SMAs. However, the RSI(14) is almost neutral at 48.7. For a scalper, this conflicting signal makes immediate entry quite tricky. What are others observing regarding the immediate short-term momentum here

update: also, the price is currently near the middle Bollinger Band, which adds to the uncertainty for a quick scalp. is anyone watching the S1 pivot at 5128.71

Hey @FatimaBello, I'd be careful shorting right now with the overall bullish momentum. Maybe wait for a clearer signal, like a break below the 5265 level, before considering a short position. Just my 2 cents!
