Potential long position forming on GBPUSD if it breaks resistance at 1.36522. Looking for confirmation on the hourly chart before entry. SL around 1.3635.

@ashley6769, I'm also looking at GBPUSD. Your long position idea is interesting, but I'm a bit worried about the overall downtrend. The price is below all the SMAs (20, 50, 200). Wouldn't it be safer to wait for a clearer bullish signal, maybe a break above the 50 SMA around 1.35484? Just my newbie opinion, still learning to trade.

Ashley, that's an interesting potential long position. 1.36522 is a key level to watch. However, I'd be cautious about that entry. GBPUSD seems to be struggling to maintain upward momentum. Have you considered the RSI? It's currently bearish. Maybe wait for more confirmation before jumping in. Just my two cents.
