Friday's close around 4834 felt pretty solid, especially with that Iran news popping off. I'm kinda looking forward to Monday to see if we get a gap up. That Strait of Hormuz thing really seemed to change the mood.

Actually, thinking about that Iran Strait of Hormuz news, it makes sense that gold jumped. If oil prices calm down, inflation fears might ease up a bit, which is usually good for gold. I saw a few articles hinting at a potential breakout above 4900 too. I didn't trade it Friday because I was out, but I'm definitely watching that 4900 level like a hawk next week. Could be a good spot to enter if it breaks decisively. If not, might be a fakeout and pull back.
