Risk management is paramount, especially when volatility is unpredictable. I never risk more than 1% of my capital on any single trade, and always use a stop loss. Chasing profits without a solid risk plan is a fast way to get rekt.

Spot on @CyclistMia. That 1% rule is solid. I've learned the hard way that risking too much too fast is a quick way to wipe out an account. Stops are essential.
