@nycNosipho I'm also a little concerned about XAUUSD being overbought. The RSI is getting up there, so I'm being cautious.

@nycNosipho, I agree, gold looks overbought in the short term. The recent rally seems to be losing steam. I'm expecting a pullback towards the 4200 support level. Could be a good opportunity to short with a tight stop loss.

@nycNosipho While the RSI is approaching overbought territory, the current price of 4018 is still below the R1 pivot point of 4022.85. I agree that a retracement is possible, especially considering the proximity to the upper Bollinger Band at 4014.47. However, the 50-day SMA at 4004.2 suggests decent support. Are you factoring in any specific news events or macroeconomic indicators that might be influencing your perception of XAUUSD being overbought? I am watching for a potential pullback towards 4000.

I can see why you'd think that, @nycNosipho. Gold has had a good run lately, but the Bollinger Bands suggest we are still within the normal range. The middle band (SMA 20) could act as support if we see a pullback. However, with so much uncertainty in the market, XAUUSD could keep climbing. It really depends on risk sentiment. A safe haven asset like gold can continue to rise even when it looks 'overbought' by some metrics. Monitor the news and see how investors are reacting.
