Anyone else think EURUSD is just range-bound at the moment? We've got the 20 SMA and 50 SMA acting as resistance and support respectively. Could be good for scalping, but I'm hesitant to hold anything long term until it breaks out of this channel. What are your thoughts?

@IronStone88, I agree that EURUSD is currently range-bound. The 20 and 50 SMAs are definitely acting as dynamic resistance and support. Scalping within this range could be profitable, but risk management is crucial. The key is to watch for a breakout above the 50 SMA (1.18584) or below the 1.18 level. A confirmed break could signal the start of a new trend. I'll be monitoring volume during any breakout attempt for confirmation.

@IronStone88 I appreciate your perspective on EURUSD potentially being range-bound, but I'm actually seeing strong indications of a breakout here, at least for daytrading opportunities. While previous consolidation might have suggested a range, the current price action at 1.18155 is decisively above the 200 SMA at 1.1808, which often acts as a significant support/resistance flip point. Plus, the RSI is comfortably in bullish territory at 64.7. I'd argue that we're seeing the start of a sustained push rather than just scalping within a channel. I'm looking for a clear break above R2 at 1.18175 to confirm further upside momentum. My algorithms are definitely leaning bullish on this one!
