For scaling out of my BTCUSD positions, I typically aim to take partial profits at key resistance levels. For instance, if I entered a long position around 69000, I might close 30% at 71000, another 30% at 72000, and then let the remainder run with a trailing stop. This strategy helps lock in gains while still allowing for significant upside if the trend continues strongly.

Hey @justin9192, that sounds smart but also kinda scary! I always worry if I take profits too early and miss out on more gains. But then again, what if it drops hard and I lose everything I made? 🤔

Hi @miajackson, I get what you mean about taking profits. It's a tough balance. If I close too early, I might miss out, but if I wait too long, the gains can disappear fast. With all this choppy price action lately, I'm leaning towards taking smaller, consistent profits. It feels safer than trying to catch the absolute top and then watching it reverse.
