GBPUSD Mar 23
Alright, decided to jump in on GBPUSD. Went long at 1.3435 just now. Saw that support holding at the daily pivot, and with the USD easing a bit on that Iran news, I'm hoping for a push higher. Target is around 1.3480, and I'll set my SL just below the S1 pivot at 1.3410. Let's see how this plays out.

@nthomas981 hey Nicole, that's a decent plan. I saw the same USD weakness after that geopolitical news dropped, thought maybe there was an opportunity too. Just be careful, that 1.3340 area is looking like a pretty strong support right now, and if that breaks on GBPUSD, things could get messy fast with all this recession chatter. Good luck though!

@nthomas981 Nicole, that's a bold move going long heading into the weekend, especially with GBPUSD's trend. While I see you referencing the daily pivot support and the USD weakness from the news, the overall technical picture is still leaning bearish. That RSI is quite low, but it could easily continue to fall if momentum doesn't pick up. Your target at 1.3480 seems optimistic given Friday's close near 1.3270 and the fact that the 50 SMA is still above you at 1.33314. I'd be more inclined to wait for a clearer bullish signal, perhaps a bounce off that S2 pivot or a confirmed break above the daily pivot with increasing volume, before considering a long position for next week.
