I'm considering opening a small short position on Monday if XAGUSD gaps down and the RSI remains below 35. The bearish momentum seems strong, but I'll manage my risk carefully.
Seeing @naledisurfer's comment about a potential short on XAGUSD. I agree the momentum is bearish, and that RSI below 35 is a classic signal. However, I'm a bit hesitant to short into this current price range around 75.90. It feels like it's consolidating heavily near the S2 pivot at 74.43. If we see a sharp rejection from the 77.80 area, which is the 20 SMA and also a previous support level, that could be a valid entry. But for now, I'm looking for a clearer break below 75.00, maybe even a retest of that lower Bollinger band around 74.99. A confirmed break of that could open up a move towards 74.43. Smart money seems to be sitting on the sidelines, and liquidity is thin, so expecting big moves might be wishful thinking. I'll be watching for any signs of a stop hunt before committing.
