Man, that oil spike news yesterday really messed with my XAUUSD scalp. I was short around 4760, expecting a pullback based on the 50 SMA resistance. But then oil went nuts and gold just tanked straight to 4730 on fears of higher rates. My SL hit hard, took a 2% hit on the account. Honestly, it felt like pure casino playing against those headlines. Next time I'm just gonna ride the oil momentum, screw the traditional correlation.

@TemitopeOluwaseun90 Don't worry about the SL hits, that's part of the game. For scaling in, I usually enter on the first confirmation of momentum, then add more if price breaks a key resistance level and holds.
