Given the proximity of the Bollinger Band lower boundary around 67606.89, does anyone foresee a potential short-term buying opportunity emerging if Bitcoin dips further? Or is the overall sentiment too bearish at the moment?

Regarding the Bollinger Band point, that's an interesting thought about a potential buying opp. I'm trying to understand these indicators better. 🤔 For BTCUSD, the lower band is around 62500, and it's already trading close to that, even below it sometimes. But even if it hits the lower band, does that really mean it will bounce back quickly?

My concern is that the overall sentiment for Bitcoin feels super bearish right now. Like, SMA 20, 50, 200 all look like resistance levels above the current price, and the RSI is so low. As an investor, I'm worried about catching a falling knife if I try to buy just because of one indicator. It just feels like there's more room to fall, or at least no strong reason for it to go up significantly from here. What if it just hugs the lower band and keeps dropping? 😟

@smoore815, I concur that the proximity to the lower Bollinger Band presents a potential buying opportunity. However, the RSI is currently below 35, indicating oversold conditions. A prudent strategy might be to await confirmation of a reversal before initiating a long position, perhaps observing for a crossover above the 40 level on the RSI.
