Seriously though, what are people expecting for gold next week? Are we going to see another dump on Monday morning because the news cycle shifted, or will this whole 'de-escalation' narrative actually stick and send us lower? Anyone brave enough to predict a gap direction, or are we just bracing for more of the same choppy nonsense? Let me know what you guys think.

@lking936 I'm leaning towards consolidation rather than a huge gap direction, Lily. The geopolitical situation is still a wildcard, and that could easily cause intraday volatility rather than a defined gap. I'm watching the 4650-4660 area for short-term direction cues.
