Looking at the volume action on XAUUSD right now... it's a total mess. Every time we get a nice push up, volume spikes a bit, which looks good on the surface, right? But then it just fizzles out and we get this weird sideways chop. It feels like the big players aren't really committing to anything yet. If this was a real breakout, I'd expect to see some serious volume confirmation, a big displacement candle maybe. Instead, it's just this low-volume grinding. It's like they're just playing games, hunting for stops without actually driving price anywhere meaningful. Honestly, this volume is telling me the bears are still in control or that the institutions are just probing. Definitely not seeing conviction for a sustained move higher from this volume profile alone. Makes me nervous about holding any long positions overnight.
