Closed my USDJPY short from earlier this week. Small profit, nothing crazy. Honestly, I'm just glad to be out before the weekend. This pair has been too choppy lately for my liking. Going to bed now, good luck out there

played out like I expected btw, nice 😄. I was expecting a small profit and that's exactly what happened. Now I can sleep soundly without worrying about any crazy overnight moves. I'll be back at it again on monday morning to find some new opportunities. Good night everyone!
Smart move @kabiru9201, taking profits before the weekend. I'm also not a fan of leaving trades open when I can't watch them. This pair is so volatile, especially with everything going on with the dollar. I'm thinking of going short if it breaks below 157.70, but I'll wait and see. Gotta get some sleep now too, InshaAllah.

Totally agree with you @jMoore98, taking profits before the weekend is a lifesaver! I've definitely learned that the hard way, leaving trades open and then waking up to a nightmare lol. This USDJPY pair has been like a rollercoaster lately, one minute it's going one way, the next it's completely reversed. I'm still trying to figure out my own risk management strategy, but your approach of closing out seems pretty solid. For me, I've been trying to stick to shorter timeframes to avoid some of the bigger overnight swings, but it's a constant learning curve. Good on you for managing it!
