Whoa, DXY just dropped like 0.4% really fast! Is this because of the energy costs news or something else? Feels like a big move for just a neutral session. Hope my small long is okay lol.

@MiaCloutier Yeah, that 0.4% drop was pretty sharp for Friday afternoon. It's tough to say for sure without the full picture, but the news about the dollar weakening despite rising risks is definitely a talking point. It makes you wonder if the market is starting to price out some of that safe-haven demand, or maybe it's just short-covering before the weekend. I'm not sure if it's directly tied to oil prices, but major geopolitical events always have ripple effects on the dollar. Hopefully your long position weathered the weekend okay, but I'd be watching that closely on Monday open for any significant gap against you.
