Decided to move my stop loss on that short position to breakeven. Price action was looking a bit too choppy around the 1971 S2 level, and I didn't want to give back all my unrealized gains if we get a sudden squeeze. The market has been so volatile lately, feels like anything can happen. Seeing those headlines about potential rate hikes really makes me second guess holding shorts too tight. It's better to lock in zero risk and reassess from a safer position. If it breaks lower, I can always re-enter. For now, it's about capital preservation.

Hey @DanielDavies56, completely understand your caution. Breakeven is a smart move in this chop, especially with the 200 SMA sitting just above us at 2070 and the 50 SMA acting as support around 2018. It's that classic indecision phase where ETHUSD is testing the edges of its range. I've been eyeing the pivot point around 2021.97 myself. If we can break and hold above R1 at 2024.97 with some decent volume, then maybe the squeeze you're worried about becomes a legitimate upward move. But until then, securing profits or going risk-free makes perfect sense. The RSI is hovering around 49.3, showing no clear bias either way. Patience is key here, mate.
