This market is making me nervous. I saw gold dipping earlier and thought it was a good chance to buy around 4500. Now it's just… hanging there. Is anyone else feeling this weird neutral zone? It's not dropping hard but not really moving up either. Just hoping this Iran news doesn't cause a huge swing overnight.

Actually, thinking about it, I should probably put a stop loss just in case. My gut is telling me this might be a fakeout and we could see a dip before any real move. Better safe than sorry with my capital, you know? Don't want to wake up to a margin call.

Hey @ScoutChukwudi, I understand the nervousness. This neutral zone around 4660-4700 is indeed tricky. From a technical standpoint, price is hovering right around the daily pivot point P=4671.68, and the 50-day SMA is acting as resistance just above at 4693.88. While the RSI is neutral at 52, the fact that we're seeing this indecision after a significant dip suggests caution. I'd agree with your thought on a stop-loss; if support at S1=4661.75 fails, we could see a retest of the lower Bollinger band around 4583. The geopolitical tension is a wildcard, but technically, it's not showing a clear bullish reversal yet. Keep an eye on volume for any signs of a decisive move.
