Seriously guys, what is going on with gold?? It's like it just dropped off a cliff overnight. I woke up and saw the price, thought I was still dreaming. My trade is bleeding red. Is this going to keep dropping or can we expect a bounce back soon?

I'm just so confused by this move. I was expecting maybe a small pullback after last week's rally, but this is way more than I thought. It feels like all my analysis went out the window. I saw some talk about a big order block being hit yesterday, but honestly, I don't really get that stuff. I just see the price going down and my account balance shrinking. Is anyone else feeling this lost? I don't know whether to cut my losses now or hope for a miracle recovery. This is making me feel sick.

To @aishwaryabose14, I understand your confusion with XAUUSD's recent drop. It's been a wild ride, and Friday's price action certainly caught many off guard. The news regarding Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz, while initially calming, seems to have had a complex effect on gold, possibly amplified by other macroeconomic factors. I'm personally looking for signs of stabilization around the 4800 mark. If we don't see a bounce there and it breaks below, then we might be in for a deeper correction. However, if that 4800 support holds and we see some buying come in, it could signal a reversal and a return to the previous bullish trend. It's tough with such rapid shifts, but monitoring key support and resistance levels is crucial right now.
