I'm looking at BTCUSD and feeling a bit unsure about the current direction. The RSI is quite high, above 70, which usually means it's overbought. But the price is still holding above the 20 and 50 SMAs.
I'm trying to understand if this means a correction is coming or if it will keep pushing higher. As a long-term investor, these short-term signals can be tricky to interpret.

Adding to my earlier thought about BTC, I'm finding it challenging to see the long-term trend when the immediate indicators are so mixed. My strategy is to hold for value, so I'm not looking for quick gains, but I also don't want to enter at a peak if a significant correction is imminent.
I'm really trying to get better at understanding how these technical signals, like the RSI and the SMAs, fit into the bigger economic picture. For example, if there's news about inflation or interest rates, how does that usually impact BTC when it's already showing overbought conditions? It feels like there are so many pieces to the puzzle, and I want to make sure I'm making informed decisions, not just reacting to daily fluctuations.
