My personal rule is to never risk more than 2% of my capital on any single trade. It helps me sleep at night even when the market moves against me. What are some of your risk management rules?

Hi @justin4863, 2% is a good rule! I usually stick to around 1-2% myself. It really does help with the stress levels lol. I also like to use trailing stops to lock in profits and protect my capital. Especially with EURUSD being so volatile lately, it's important to be extra cautious. What platform are you using to trade? I'm always looking for better tools for risk management.

Hey @justin4863, that 2% rule is solid. I also try to keep my risk tight, usually around 1.5% per trade max. It's essential for staying in the game long-term. I’ve learned the hard way that blowing up your account chasing big profits is a fast way to quit. I also always set my stop loss before I even enter the trade, no exceptions. Sometimes I’ll even use an alert on my stop loss level to make sure I don't accidentally move it further away if price gets close. It's all about discipline and not letting emotions dictate decisions.
