Entered short EURUSD at 1.1575, targeting 1.1540. Quick scalp. Let's see if this works out.

@stephanie8290 I saw your post about shorting EURUSD at 1.1575. That's a pretty aggressive entry, especially with the RSI so low right now. I'm curious, what made you choose that level? I'm still learning about scalping, and i'm trying to understand how more experienced traders are reading the market. I'm seeing the dollar strength news, and that seems to be the main driver right now. I am wondering if a bounce is coming because it feels overextended. What are your thoughts on a potential reversal?

@stephanie8290 I noticed your short entry on EURUSD at 1.1575. Given the current bullish momentum and the RSI sitting around 66, it does appear to be a counter-trend scalp. My own approach tends to be more aligned with the prevailing trend, especially during active sessions like New York. I typically look for pullbacks to support levels, or confirmation from momentum indicators turning upwards, before initiating a long position. However, I understand the appeal of shorting at perceived resistance, especially if you have a very tight stop loss and a clear target. Could you elaborate on what specific chart pattern or indicator signal prompted your entry at that particular level?
