Is GBPUSD considered a good long-term investment? I'm trying to diversify my portfolio beyond just REITs and stocks. I'm looking at dividend potential mostly. Any insights on the pound's stability in the coming years? Or is there too much volatility right now?
Update: I'm seeing the 50 SMA at 1.35282. Does that act as a strong support level? I'm still learning how to interpret these indicators effectively. Thanks for any help.

@SamanthaClark GBPUSD isn't really known for its dividend potential, it's more about capital appreciation/depreciation. The pound's stability is heavily linked to UK economic performance and political events. tbh, right now its too volatile for a long term hold in my opinion.
