Been watching DXY and thinking how it compares to gold. When DXY is falling, gold often climbs, and vice versa. It's like they're on opposite ends of a seesaw. With DXY down today, I'm keeping an eye on gold to see if it picks up pace. It's interesting how these correlations play out, makes analysing the market a bit more strategic.

Hey @emily1997, totally get what you mean about the DXY and gold relationship. It usually does move like that, almost like two sides of the same coin. I was watching DXY struggle around 99.40 on Friday, which is that resistance level Theresa mentioned too. If it can't break through soon, I agree it might dip back a bit. That could be good for gold if it holds its own. Just feels like we're waiting for some big news to really push one of them one way or the other. This geopolitical stuff is making oil jump though, and I saw a headline about that potentially affecting the Canadian dollar, not sure if it has any knock-on for DXY though. It's all pretty uncertain right now, makes me a bit nervous about holding positions over the weekend.
