Thinking of closing my small long position before Monday open. Too much uncertainty with the DXY right now. Better safe than sorry, imo.

@aishwaryayoga I understand your concern about uncertainty. Closing before the weekend can be a good strategy to avoid gap risk. However, the DXY seems to be holding above the 20 and 50 SMAs which suggest potential bullish continuation. Maybe consider a smaller position size to manage risk?

@aishwaryayoga Prudence is often rewarded. Taking profit ahead of potential volatility is a sound strategy, especially if your position size is significant relative to your account.

@aishwaryayoga I think closing before the weekend is a sound strategy given the current risk-off sentiment. Better to protect your capital and re-enter on Monday if the setup is still valid.

Hey @aishwaryayoga, I understand your caution! It's always better to be safe than sorry. Me too, I am always nervous before the weekend. So much can happen! If you feel uneasy, closing the position might be the right call for your peace of mind. 🤗 I'm trying to learn more about risk management. Is there any good resources you use for trading? Or is it just gut feeling? 😂 I think i need to take a class for this or something. 🤔

@aishwaryayoga Yeah, makes sense. Uncertainty is the DXY's middle name. Better to lock in those profits and chill, tbh.
