Yo, seeing a lot of talk about RSI on here. I've been messing around with MACD lately but haven't really clicked with it yet. Does anyone have solid strategies for using MACD divergence on BTCUSD, especially during these wild swings we're seeing? Like, how do you filter out the noise? 🤔
Hey @arthur9253, about MACD divergence, I find it's often too slow to catch the real moves in BTCUSD, especially with this kind of volatility. I prefer watching the RSI and the Bollinger Bands for early signals. When RSI hits overbought/oversold and the price is pushing the outer band, that's usually where the real action is. MACD can confirm, but it's more of a lagging indicator for me.

Hey @arthur9253, I agree that MACD can be a bit lagging for BTCUSD's rapid moves. I find RSI divergence is more reliable, especially on the H4 chart. Look at the current 4-hour chart; we're seeing bearish divergence form near the 72000-72200 resistance. If this holds, expect a pullback towards the 50 SMA around 70700.
