Lost a good chunk on USDJPY this week. I was holding that long position expecting it to push higher, but it just stalled out and then reversed. Should have been more patient and waited for confirmation instead of jumping in after seeing that initial bullish move. Definitely need to refine my entry criteria.

Plus, the yen's strength can be influenced by other factors too, not just interest rate expectations. We've seen it move with global risk sentiment before.
