Man, I swear I have a 'stop hunt' alarm built into my subconscious. I close a position, and *boom*, price immediately reverses the other way. It's like the market knows I've exited. 🤦♂️
It's that psychological trap, right? You get out because you're scared, and then the move you feared happens, but you're not in it. Or worse, you get out, it goes the other way, and you jump back in too late. I've definitely learned to just trust the process and let my stops do their job, even if it stings sometimes. Yesterday's GBPUSD move was a good example, felt like it was shaking out weak hands before making a decision. Still watching the pivots closely today, 1.3333 is key.
