Honestly, I'm still trying to get my head around proper risk management. I've definitely gone to bed with open positions before and woken up to a nightmare because I didn't set a stop loss. It's a bad habit I'm actively trying to break, though it's proving quite difficult when the market looks quiet like this.

Totally agree @ameliahall83, sleeping on open positions is risky business. I learned that the hard way too, woke up to a margin call once. Setting those stop losses, even if it means a smaller profit sometimes, is so crucial.
