Tomorrow's inflation data has me a bit worried, honestly. I'm new to this and I don't really get all the charts, but numbers like that always make me nervous. Is there usually a big move when those numbers come out? I really don't want to be holding a losing trade when it happens.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same. It's just hard to know if it's going to be up or down with that kind of news looming.

Hey @melissa4167, I totally get the anxiety about those inflation numbers. It's like walking blindfolded into a room full of dynamite, right? Yeah, when big economic data drops, especially something like inflation, the market can go absolutely wild. Sometimes it's a massive spike in one direction, sometimes it's just total chaos and whipsaws. For us beginners trying to figure out charts, it's the worst kind of uncertainty. I'm just hoping I don't have any open trades when that news hits tomorrow. Best advice I can give, and I'm still learning myself, is to maybe close any positions you're not super comfortable holding through major news. Better a small loss now than a gut-wrenching one later if it goes south. Stay safe out there!
