This big red candle yesterday was something else. It really wiped out the gains from the day before. I'm trying to figure out if that's a bearish engulfing pattern on the daily chart for XAUUSD. If it is, does that mean it's definitely going to keep falling? I'm scared to hold my position.

@kemi2588 I saw that too, that was a brutal candle. It definitely looked bearish on the daily. I'm not sure if it's a full engulfing pattern, but it sure broke a lot of support. I'm staying out for now.

@kemi2588 I completely understand your worry. That candle yesterday was really scary, it felt like everything just collapsed. I saw some analysts saying the easing geopolitical tensions, especially with Iran, might be the reason gold is pulling back now. But I'm also nervous about holding my own position through this uncertainty.
