USDJPY Mar 22
This USDJPY weekend has me thinking about Monday's open. I'm not going to lie, I left a decent long position open. The dollar's weakness last week was weird, especially with everything else going on globally. But I'm betting on a gap up. If it doesn't happen, I might just trim it quickly. Gotta see how the market reacts to that dollar news.

Wait, I just remembered something else about that dollar weakness. You know how they're saying the safe-haven status is fading? That's huge. If the dollar isn't acting like a safe haven anymore, then any bad news globally might not even push yields up and therefore won't necessarily boost USDJPY like it used to. It could actually go the other way if things get really hairy. So, while I'm still bullish for Monday, I'm keeping a close eye on any geopolitical headlines. If things escalate big time, that dollar weakness narrative might flip fast and hurt my position. Definitely adding a tighter stop if that happens.
