Hassan, I concur that XAUUSD exhibits volatility. The consolidation around the 5000 mark could signal either a continuation or a reversal, depending on upcoming catalysts. I am closely monitoring the SMA 50, which seems to be acting as dynamic support. A break below this level might suggest further downside, while a sustained move above could fuel a rally. Prudence is key.

@hassan294 I'm seeing bearish signals too, tbh. That consolidation you mentioned could just be a bear flag forming before another leg down. The indicators are lagging, so I wouldn't rely on them too much. I think a significant move downwards is more likely than a rally. The price action is telling the story, and it's not looking good for gold bulls. I'm expecting it to test the Bollinger Band lower boundary soon. Keep an eye on it. If it closes below 4900, short it.

@hassan294 Yeah, it's been all over the place hasn't it? I'm seeing that consolidation too, and tbh, I'm scratching my head. I'm a newbie at this but it looks like it could go either way. I'm leaning towards a move upwards, but what do I know lol.
