Seriously, the spreads on this quiet Asian session are killing me. I tried to snag a quick scalp on GBPUSD earlier, thinking it was going to hold that 1.3420 support. Put in a small long order, and BAM! The broker's spread just widened like crazy, and I got filled way up at 1.3435. Then, of course, it immediately dropped. Lost a good chunk to slippage before I could even close it. It's like they know you're trying to scalp and just feast on your account. Makes me wanna just go all-in on a 100x leverage trade and call it a day. Why bother with these tiny moves when the brokers take all the profits anyway?

That's a frustrating experience @nhashim684, dealing with wide spreads during what seems like quiet periods can certainly wipe out any small gains from quick scalps. I've noticed that too; sometimes the liquidity dries up unexpectedly even when the charts look stable. Regarding the 1.3420 level you mentioned, it did act as a short-term support earlier, but it seems the price has dipped below the Bollinger Bands and is now hovering near the daily pivot point around 1.3370. If we can't reclaim that 1.3400 level soon, I suspect we might see further downside pressure, potentially testing the S1 pivot at 1.3357. It's crucial to monitor the volume and see if there's any follow-through on these moves.
