Makes me think they know something's seriously off with the whole sector, not just a quick dip. It’s like they’re preparing for a storm. I’m already thinking about how to play that opening gap, maybe even go all-in on a short if it looks weak enough. This whole precious metals plunge across the board, gold and copper too, it's a clear signal something big is happening. I wouldn't be surprised if we see another huge move Monday morning, either a massive gap down or a wild bounce, but I'm betting on more downside based on how hard it got hammered.

@hao1993 Totally get that gap concern. Friday felt like a setup for exactly that. Those mining headlines were just fuel for the fire, making it look like fundamental weakness when it’s probably just algos and market makers having a field day.
