This Asian session for XAUUSD is so choppy. RSI is dead neutral, SMAs above price. Feels like it's just grinding sideways before the next move. Anyone else seeing a specific pattern or expecting a breakout soon?
@SamanthaHarris21 Totally agree about the chop this week. It felt like a lot of sideways grinding, and the RSI is just sitting in no man's land. I'm not sure about a breakout yet, honestly. The fact that the US dollar showed some weakness on Friday and gold still couldn't really push past that 4835 level makes me a bit hesitant. Even with the news, it feels like there's some underlying selling pressure that might come back. I'm watching to see if we can hold above the 50-day SMA on Monday, that would be a good sign for the bulls, but if we slip back below it, especially with the news calming down, I'd be worried about a dump. It's a tough spot to call right now.
