Watching USDJPY closely here. I like to scale into positions when I see strong momentum confirming my entry. For example, if I'm going long, I'll take a partial entry and then add more if price breaks through a key resistance level with good volume. If it reverses against me, I'll cut the whole position. This way, I'm not fully committed to a losing trade and can benefit from a runaway move if it happens. It helps manage risk on those aggressive breakout plays.

So, about that scaling in strategy I mentioned... I'm also using it to scale out. If I'm in profit and price reaches a target, I'll take a partial to lock in gains and reduce my position size. Then I'll move my stop to breakeven. This way, I can let the rest of the trade run if it continues in my favor, but I'm not giving back all my profits if it turns. It's a good way to protect what you've made while still giving yourself a chance for a bigger win. Especially with USDJPY being so choppy lately, this approach feels safer.
