Well, that was a week wasn't it? Gold's been bouncing around like a rubber duck in a hurricane! Closed pretty strong though, I must say. Now to see if it keeps going up or if it's gonna do one of those dramatic u-turns next week. Fingers crossed for more ups!

Okay, so thinking about next week a bit more... If XAUUSD breaks past 5110 early on, it could be a good sign for further gains, right? But I'm also thinking about the possibility of a gap down on Monday. I've heard stories of people losing their shirts on those things! Maybe I should set a tighter stop loss just in case. Or maybe even take some profit off the table before things get too crazy. Decisions, decisions... Anyone got any thoughts? All input is welcome!

Update: Just had a look at the RSI. Overbought territory, eh? Might be time to be a bit cautious then. Don't want to get caught with my trousers down if it decides to plunge. Still, gotta love a bit of excitement in the gold market!
