Man, this early morning session on BTCUSD is always so slow. I'm currently backtesting some algos and trying to be patient but it's tough when price is just crawling. My risk management philosophy is pretty strict: never risk more than 1% of capital per trade. It's the only way to stay in the game long enough to actually learn and adapt, especially with these choppy markets.

Also, I've been thinking a lot about stop-loss placement. For these algo tests, I'm using a fixed percentage stop, but I'm wondering if adaptive stops might be better. Like, adjust the stop based on volatility or ATR. It's just so hard to know what's optimal when the market feels this dead, you know?

Hey @nandini4066, I totally get that patience thing. I tried to trade last night and lost like 200 bucks cuz I didn't sleep. Now I'm just watching the price around 74k. It feels like it's gonna drop more but I'm too scared to sell. Hope your algos work out!
