Wondering what kind of gap we'll see on Monday for USDJPY. Friday's close was strong, but with the weekend news cycle, anything can happen. I'll be watching the open closely to see if that momentum carries or if we pull back. Might sit out the initial chaos.

Hey @MHarris41, I feel you on the weekend wait. But honestly, I'm kinda hoping for a gap UP on USDJPY. Saw some crazy volume building before close and my gut is screaming to go long again. Might just YOLO into it at the open if it looks right. No point in trading small, right?

Hey @MHarris41, I get your hesitation about the open on Monday. The weekend news cycle is always a wild card, especially with the geopolitical stuff heating up – saw some chatter about the Middle East affecting the dollar. But looking at USDJPY's chart right now, it's held above the 50 SMA nicely and we're above the daily pivot point. RSI is sitting pretty neutral at 59, not screaming overbought or oversold. I'm not expecting a massive gap, but if it does open strong, that momentum could push it towards R1 at 159.96. I'd watch for a retest of 159.58 as support first though.
